A road map on regulatory cooperation agreed by the EU and the US includes a deal to work together on cosmetics industry rules,according to documents released by Washington.The agreement sanctions co-operation between the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the cosmetics unit of the European Commission's directorate general (DG) for enterprise.They will work on "alternative (ie non-animal testing methods)" and "respective regulatory approaches applied in the area of hair dyes" as well as other projects of mutual interest.
