KION buys Dematic for $2.1bn

KION Group AG has acquired Dematic, the automation provider and specialist in supply chain optimisation, from its owner AEA Investors and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. KION - one of the largest global suppliers of fork lift trucks, warehouse equipment and related services - already owns Linde, Still, Baoli and Egemin, amongst others.
