In comparison to the high capital deals of the last couple of week's there has been limited activity, although this is no reflection on enquiry end we anticipate that prices will remain steady in the short term. Aries Maritime have confirmed their purchase of the two Stena Bulk-controlled double-hulled Panamax tankers, the "STENA COMPASS" and "STENA COMPASSION" (both around 72,000 dwt). Aries have paid dollar 56 million each, with a bareboat charter agreement back to Stena for 2.5 years at dollar 18,500/day each. The vessels are currently under construction at Dalian Shipyard, with delivery in late 2005 and early 2006 respectively.
