A 10.4-in. On-Cell Touch-Panel LCD with Correlated Noise Subtraction Method

We demonstrated a 10.4-in on-cell touch-panel LCD using an ITO layer formed on a color filter substrate as a capacitive sensor. To enhance noise immunity for larger capacitive sensors, we developed a correlated noise subtraction method, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio even under an environment where noise frequency coincides with signal frequency.
