Simultaneous Projection of Stereoscopic 3-D Left- and Right-Eye Images in Orthogonal Polarization through a Single Lens

摘要

A prototype single-lens stereoscopic 3-D projector is demonstrated with excellent cross-talk performance between the simultaneously projected left- and right-eye images. Performance requirements for the enabling polarizing beam splitter in a highly light efficient two panel arrangement are analyzed.
