A Low-cost, Two-step Nucleation and Growth of CdTe Quantum Dots via Magic-sized Cluster Intermediates in Aqueous Phase

摘要

We report a two-step nucleation and growth of CdTe quantum dots via magic-sized cluster intermediates. In this low-cost aqueous phase procedure (10 times lower than organic-phase), the spectrally narrow emission (37 nm) with high quantum yield (>50%) can be utilized for high definition and color gamut displays.
