摘要

Based on molecular orbital calculation, solution processable fluorinated polyvinylcarbazole (poly(N-vinyl 2,7-difluorocarbazole), (F-PVK)) is synthesized as host material for blue electrophosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). F-PVK successfully confined triplet excitons to the guest phosphorescent material, iridium(III) bis[(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2']picolinate (FIrpic). To the authors' knowledge, it showed the highest up-to-date solution-processed blue polymer OLED efficiency of 27 cd/A at 760 cd/m{sup}2.
