The present study was made on the diurnal variation in phytoplankton productivity and Chlorophyll-a of the Kadinamkulam lake of Kerala during the full moon day. The gross and net productivities and Chlorophyll-a were mainly influenced by saline waterintrusion and husk retting activity.
