摘要

The assessment of the long-term effect of industry on aquifers due to negative water balance and on the nitrate pollution of drinking water quality due to human activities requires detailed knowledge of both transport of the chemical constituents and geochemical processes within aquifers. Hydrogeological and hydrochemical studies in the unconfined Tebessa aquifer have provided the data necessary to define the area at increased risk from these phenomena. The solution of Fick's second law under given boundary conditions gives an estimate of the propagation of groundwater pollution by NO3-:
