摘要

The bio-sorption of Europium (EU) and Samarium (Sm) radionuclides by different genera of algae from different taxonomic groups was experimentally studied. Three genera Cladophora profunda of Chlorophyceae, Pseudoanabaena schmidlei of Cyanophyceae, Catenella repens of Rhodophyceae were cultured in laboratory condition. The radionuclide accumulation varied with the algae at different pH levels. Cladophora and Catenella showed maximum radionuclide accumulation at pH 8 and pH 7 respectively, while Pseudoanabaena showed accumulation in both pH 5 and pH 8.
