Postersession 2: Klimawandel und Gesundheit

摘要

The City2020+ Project is part of the interdisciplinary Project House HumTec (Human Sciences and Technology) at RWTH Aachen University funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German federal and state governments through the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation, DFG). This research initiative CITY 2020+ assesses the risks and opportunities for residents in urban built environments under projected demographic and climate change for the year 2020 and beyond, using the City of Aachen as a case study. We investigate how the urban environment, political structure and residents can best be adapted, with attention to the interactions among structural, political, and sociological configurations and with their consequences on human health. Europe has an aging infrastructure and an aging population.
