In order to use for the complex environment of level measurement, a liquid level sensor of coaxial cable capacitance is designed. Coaxial cable external layer is teflon insulation, has a fixed dielectric constant. Connect the coaxial cable center conductor with liquid, constitute movable plate with level change, fix plate is coaxial cable shield layer. Capacitance-voltage transformation and filter circuit are designed, convert the level value to the electrical signal, design the circuit of display, transmission, control etc., and the data processing is studied. The experiment shows that sensor can be applied for level measurement in complex conductivity environment, the liquid level measurement ranges is 0~2 m, has a higher reliability.
