NEW VENTURE RECYCLES SPENT MATERIALS

Phibro-Tech Inc (Fort Lee, N.J.) and Amlon Metals L.L.C. (New York City) have formed a joint venture-Alliance Resources Group L.L.C.-to provide recycling solutions to generators of spent nickel catalyst, electroplating solution (including acids), electroplating waste-water treatment filter-cake, and similar materials.The new venture combines the expertise of Phibro-Tech, a manufacturer of high-purity chemicals and the largest hydrometallurgical recycling company in North America, with Amlon Metals, which develops waste-management programs for nonferrous and precious metal-bearing spent materials.
