Posco's global stainless CR capacity tops 3 million mt/year

Posco has officially commissioned its new 200,000 metric tons/ year stainless steel cold rolling coil mill at Izmit in Turkey's northwestern province of Kocaeli, it announced Thursday. The inauguration of the mill on August 15 took the Korean steelmaker's global stainless CR capacity - comprising its Pohang works in Korea and other plants abroad - to 3 million mt/y, it noted.
