The economic downturn has had a profound impact on the way we all shop, but how is the organic movement coping with the recession? Co back 10 years and "organic" was a big buzzword in seafood circles, probably more so than "sustainabil-ity" was at thetime. A lot, however, has changed in a relatively short period. Consumers are being overwhelmed with sustainability messages and the market is awash with eco-labels. By stark contrast the fizz seems to have deserted the once-effervescent organic movement.
