Domestic steel manufacturers are struggling to survive as steel imports, especially from ASEAN countries, have put big difficulties on domestic producers. Though steel producers have continuously slashed sale prices, sales have still been going slowly due to low demand in the context of economic difficulties. Meanwhile, domestic products now have to fight against imported products, especially from ASEAN countries.
