Mechel's Jan-Sep coal mining output up 5%

Sales of PCI coal jumped by 42% to 1.7 million mt and anthracites sales were up 14% to 1.9 million mt in January-September, compared with the corresponding period of 2011, as the company continues its strategy of increasing the share of metallurgical coals in the mining division.
