Brazilian mining company Valehas halted its operations on the Vitoria-Minas Railway after a group of indigenousprotesters first occupied the track on Friday,the company said.The group is protesting against theenvironmental disaster caused by thecollapse of two tailings dams of iron oreminer and pelletizing company Samarco,a 50:50 joint venture between Vale andBHP Billiton.
