Silicomanganese prices continued to firm over the week on strong buying interested, sources said Friday. Silicomanganese 65:16 was assessed at Eur970-1,000/mt (1,271-1,310 dollars) DDP Northwest Europe from Eur920-970/mt the previous week. “I've heard Eur1,020/mt delivered to a German mill, but not higher than that,” one Europe-based trader said.
