BHP Billiton may consider selling its Mount Nimba iron ore project in Guinea, according to The Sunday Times in the UK. The miner has engaged Japanese investment bank Nomura to find a buyer for the project, the UK newspaper said. The global miner said recently it would consider selling some of its smaller projects to focus on large scale operations due to softening demand for several of its key commodities.
