Iranian iron ore exports jump 45% to date, pending export duty

In spite of the Iranian government’spolicy to halt exports of raw materials, officialcustoms statistics show a sharp increase iniron ore exports in the first nine months of thePersian year (to December 20). The statisticsshow Iranian miners exported 13.08 million mtof iron ore in the nine-month period, a 45%year-on-year increase.
