Eramet’s 2014 manganese ore output down 6%

French miner Eramet said Friday annual manganese ore and sinter production was down 6% in 2014 at a little more than 3.48 million mt, due to a major accident in Gabon which affected the railway there in the first half of the year. Fourth quarter 2014 manganese ore and sinter production was down 10% quarter on quarter at 875,700 mt.
