Molybdenum prices moved higher Thursday as the market digested news of a large Chinese government tender, however, the pace looked to have slowed down at the end of the European trading day. The Platts daily dealer oxide assessment range was up to $5.95-$6.10/lb from $5.90-$6/lb, while Platts daily European ferromolybdenum price also gained to $15.20-$15.50/lb from $15- $15.40/kg.
