Northwest European scrap contracts not finalized yet

September scrap settlements are not yet finalized in northwest Europe and the situation is not completely clear, market sources told Platts Steel Business Briefing Monday. Indications from the Turkish market suggest prices should fall, though in the first week of this month some mills bought domestic scrap at prices slightly up or stable on last month.
