China is in the process of considering how World Trade Organization agreements regarding export duties on raw materials, such as metallurgical coke, zinc and manganese, can be implemented before the December 31 deadline, a government official from the Commerce Ministry told Platts SBB Wednesday. The Chinese government is currently studying measures on how this can take place, but “as of this stage, we don't have any news,” the source added.
