Chinese 75% ferrosili-con prices were steady within a range of $1,310-1,340/mt FOB China this week as traded volumes remained thin, China-based industry sources said Thursday. A Lanzhou-based trader reported no spot deals this week: “We have not been selling the material for quite some time as overseas demand remains weak.” She added that offer prices in China were hovering around $1,330/mt FOB Tianjin, China.
