Distribution patterns of terrestrial mollusks in the chalk steppe and neighboring phytocenoses of the Oskol River valley in the Dvorichanskyi National Nature Park, Ukraine

A total of 39 terrestrial mollusk species have been found in the study region, including rare species such as Helicopsis striata, Pupilla triplicata, Truncatellina costulata, Vertigo angustior, Vallonia enniensis, and Vitrea crystallina. Their distribution over different steppe, forest, and floodplain phytocenoses in the Oskol River valley is discussed. Of special interest are data on the distribution patterns of terrestrial mollusks in the mosaic landscape of the chalk steppe (including rock outcrops and scrub of trees and shrubs), which have not been described previously.
