摘要

The oxidation of fluorene by quinolinium dichromate gave fluorenone.ESR evidence has been presented for the formation of the chromium(V) species.The chemistry of chromium is characterised by the large number of available oxidation states.In the reaction of chromium(VI) with organic substrates and cellular systems,chromium(V) has been reported as the intermediate state.
