To the Editor: We read with interest the article entitled "Third-generation bisphosphonates for treatment of sensor-ineural hearing loss in otosclerosis." The authors should be congratulated for bringing this information to our attention. Having used the various generations of bisphosphonates in our practice for the treatment of otosclerosis for a period of 19 years, we would like to make some comments on this paper.
