A new business behind a new technology which delivers clean, dry, temperate and continuously monitored safe breathing air to offshore workers operating in potentially explosive environments has launched in Aberdeen.Air2Work plans to invest GBP 1.5 million over the next year, bringing its patented breathing air delivery systems, developed by Norwegian parent company E Innovation, to the UK market. They also expect to recruit up to six new staff.The system is the first available to the industry, which combines an oil-free air compressor, seven-stage air filtration and conditioning unit, with two stage temperature control, safe for use in ATEX Zone 1 environments.
