DNMI Revolutionises Search and Rescue at Sea

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute (DNMI) will during spring 2001 offer completely new mathematical models which speedily can determine the direction of small, drifting objects at sea. The new mathematical tool will revolutionise the sea rescue of people, small boats and objects, and represents a considerable saving of valuable time.
