As you drive through the State of California you are bound to see the incredible amount of land used for agriculture.1 California is famous for its citrus industry,2 and is home to the second largest citrus producing region in the United States (behind Florida),3 generating a 1.8 billion dollar citrus harvest, 1.2 billion dollars for California's economy, and nearly 25,000 jobs.4 Now imagine that California-grown citrus disappeared, many jobs would be lost, California's economy would decline,5 and California's iconic citrus trees would be a thing of the past.6
