Cincinnati - Nominations are being accepted for the annual Safe-in-Sound Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention Awards. NIOSH and the National Hearing Conservation Association created the awards in 2007 to honor organizations for "excellent hearing loss prevention practices in the work environment," according to the program's website. Awards are presented in the sectors of construction, manufacturing and services, as well as for innovation regardless of sector.
