BASF to launch new fungicide for golf courses in Japan

BASF launched a brand-new fungicide in Japan for golf courses in January 2014 which provides strong efficacy against a wide spectrum of turf diseases including large patch (Rbizoctonia solani) in zoysia grass. The fungicide, Sercadis Flowable is based on the active ingredient fluxapyroxad (Xemium). Xemium was originally developed by BASF and the products containing this active ingredient have become popular worldwide after the first product launch in Europe in 2012.
