A 32-year-old painter was electrocuted when the metal ladder he was carrying came into contact with overhead power lines. The victim was working for a painting con- tractor with 10 employees. On the day of the incident, a fore- man and four other crew members were painting a two-story wood-framed house. An energized 13,200-volt power line ran overhead, approximately 26 feet from the residence, with the primary conductor 21 feet off of the ground.
