摘要

The physical adsorption of glucose on barium sulphate crystallites in aqueous negatively charged solution was investigated by spectrophotometric method. It has been observed that the adsorption of BaSO4 crystallites that carry negative charges is fairly enhanced over that carry positive or no charges. The variation of the equilibrium concentrations (C) with the amount of glucose adsorbed (X) fits nicely with Freundlich-Langmuir isotherms.
