摘要

The reactions of [(eta-C5H5)(CO)(COC2HB10H10)Re=CC6H5] (1) with Fe-2(CO)(9) and Co-2(CO)(8) in THF at -5 to +10 degrees C gave the novel heteronuclear dimetal bridging carbyne complex [ReFe(mu-CC6H5)(mu-CO)(CO)(3)(eta-C5H5)(COC2HB10H10)] (3) and the heteronuclear trimetal bridging carbyne complex [ReCo2(mu(3)-CC6H5)(mu-CO)(2)(CO)(5)(eta-C5H5)(C2HB10H10)] (4), respectively. The structures of 3 and 4 were established by X-ray crystallographic studies. The carboranyl group remained bonded to the Re atom via the formacyl group in 3 but was transferred from the formacyl group to the Co atom in 4. [References: 20]
