Intracavity amplification of optical rotation is studied experimentally in a flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser with the pulse duration up to 10 #mu#s and the number of round-trip transits in the resonator up to 3 * 10~3. Spectral polarization characteristics of the externally controlled laser emission are studied. Physical processes are considered that restrict the amplification of optical rotation and the threshold sensitivity of the pulsed intracavity polarization laser spectroscopy.
