摘要

A simple technique allowing the shifts of X-ray characteristic lines of metals corresponding to emission from the vaporous and the solid states of aggregation is presented. The basic idea of the measurements is in the application of an electron beam for evaporation and excitation of the metal studied. The values of the shifts of iron K-lines are Δλ/λ≈=6*105. The K-line exhibits a structure at its long-wavelength wing in the vaporous state, which limits its utilization as a wavelength standard.
