摘要

A new type of nonlinear saturation resonances in laser spectroscopy of gases is theoretically studied. These resonances can be excited by a traveling monochromatic wave in the absorption line of a near-surface gas layer. They should be most pronounced in the far near-surface region, where stationary coherent polarization already exists, but collisions between particles in a gas are still insignificant.
