摘要

Nonstationary light amplification without a population inversion caused by an opto-mechanical resonance is considered. A two-level atom located in a strong monochromatic resonant field executes mechanical oscillations of a certain frequency, resulting in a periodic amplification of a probe wave. The repetition rate of the resulting amplified pulses and their amplitude are determined by the intensity of the strong resonant field and its detuning relative to the atomic transition frequency.
