Coefficients of Light Extinction by Randomly Oriented Clusters of Spherical Particles in the Double Scattering Approximation

Approximate formulas for the coefficients of light extinction by randomly oriented clusters of spherical particles are presented. Single and double scattering is taken into account in the derivation of the formulas. The values of the extinction coefficients calculated from these formulas for bispheres are in good agreement with the exact ones.
