摘要

An algorithm is developed for analysis of the absorption spectral line profiles by means of the Voigt function which allows one to determine the type of collisions of molecules in a gas and the collisional narrowing coefficient. The accuracy of measurements of the Lorentzian width and integrated intensity of the line are of the same order of magnitudes as for fitting spectral lines with Rautian-Sobel'man and Galatry profiles. The error of measurement of the collisional narrowing coefficient does not exceed 10%, which is better than for fitting with Rautian-Sobel'man and Galatry profiles in the case of collisions of the unknown type when the error amounts to 30-50%.
