摘要

We propose an optical-waveguide-based temperature sensor with temperature-sensitive material, and design the corresponding system block for its application in intelligent building. By the change of lateral shift of incident light at total reflection angle caused by temperature effect the environment temperature can be detected with a non-contact method. The accuracies of temperature sensors without and with gold layer are analyzed by simulation results, and the application of their cascade can provide a high accurate measurement result (as small as 0.03 K) even in a large temperature range.
