摘要

This paper describes the design of Phased Array Antenna Simulator (PAAS) used for testing and validation of beam former payloads. Beam former consists of phased array antenna and beam forming network to cater the dynamic requirement of communication system. PAAS is used to characterize the beam former payload before integrating with main system. The PAAS system is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink models using all digital approach. The Models are implemented for 32 elements array geometry for linear, rectangular and triangular. The paper addresses how the computations are carried out, and presents simulation results.
