摘要

In this present paper we have investigated a lead silicate (SF57) photonic crystal fiber which promises to exhibit small dispersion and high nonlinearity. The fiber has been modeled using finite difference time domain method (FDTD). Designed fiber remains single moded over large wavelength range. At 1.55 mu m operating wavelength, the value of nonlinear coefficient is 1179W(-1) km(-1) and dispersion similar to 41 psm-km. The fiber may find applications in devices exploiting optical nonlinearity. (C) 2015 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.
