Silver Clusters Intercalation into the Cellulose Matrix.II.REM and TEM Evidence of Silver Clusters Presence in the Microcrystalline Cellulose Matrix

摘要

Fibre morphological structure of microcrystalline cellulose samples and of those subjected to chemical treatments,in order to intrecalate silver clusters into the cellulose matrix,was observed with raster and transmission electron microscopes.Samples' morphological parameters were characterised,permitting a comparative study of the examined species.The results reveal the interaction between the cell wall layer and the reagents used for intercalation.
