Property study of coherent annular beam generated by the annular phase-locking laser

An annular phase-locking laser with annular gain media is presented. In this paper, the light field distribution of coherent annular beam (CAB) can be given by an analytical expression based on the Collins formula. Typical numerical examples are given to illustrate the application of our analytical result and the propagation property of a CAB through a paraxial ABCD optical system.
