August is here and that means the INFORMS Board of Directors election is upon us. As usual the polls opened on Aug. 1, and now is your opportunity to weigh in with your opinion about who is best suited to lead INFORMS. Although the voting begins in August, the opening of the polls is the culmination of a yearlong electoral process. This article gives some background on how candidates are identified and elected to the board, and how your vote is counted to determine who will join the board.
