Another technology aimed at improving shallow gas drilling is Halliburton's continuous rotation orienter (CRO). Ray smith , the company's new regional mangager for Canada and former global operations manager for directional drilling, says the CRO will significantly improve the ability to steer wells drilled with coil tubing.
